S'mores at the Sledding Hill Carnival

The winter might be chilly, you might be silly, but here at TaSciEn we’re always litty! Our February event, which is a part of the Sledding Hill Carnival (Laskiaisrieha in Finnish), introduced many of Tampere University students to a well-known American treat: s’mores!

Created from 2 pieces of crackers (or Graham crackers if you want to be 100% authentic - according to our board member Aaron), a piece of grilled marshmallow and a piece of chocolate, s’mores are basically the sweet, miniature & diabetic version of burgers. But who cares about that in this weather anyway? We from TaSciEn are proud to say that, by helping students around campus make more than 100 s’mores, we have successfully combated the freezing cold and brought smiles to everyone who came (even if some of those smiles are a bit messy from the marshmallow).
