About the Guild
TaSciEn ry, short for Tampere Science and Engineering Students' association ry, is an organization of students of Science and Engineering in Tampere University. Our goals include defending the interests of students on all levels, as well as supporting their studies and giving ample free-time opportunities. We aim to achieve these goals by organizing a range of different events and activities, as well as providing information and effective means of communication with student representatives of our degree programme.
Originally founded in May 2018, as a club for the students of the International Science and Engineering Degree Program, we have expanded our visions and capabilities to serve all students interested in our guild! Our guildroom is located in the Päärakennus Basement (Main building basement) - PC001E.
TaSciEn ry is a student-run association that operates under the Student Union TREY. The members of the Board are elected in TaSciEn’s Autumn General Meeting, held yearly, and the term of every board is one calendar year.
